About

Anastasia Roupakia is a classically trained composer and orchestrator with 16 years of music education encompassing classical, film music composition and flute performance. She has a wide musical background as an experienced soloist and member of an orchestra and a choir for several years.

She graduated with a BA in European Classical Music from Macedonia University of Thessaloniki (Greece) with a specialisation in Flute Performance, while simultaneously studying classical composition and obtaining two diplomas with Honors. Her love for music and movies drove her to London in 2008, where she completed a Masters in Composing for Films & Television at Kingston University.

She specialises in full orchestral scores, small ensembles and piano. She often combines classical and electronic sounds in her pieces. Her love for films and theater motivates her to compose in diverse musical genres and styles.

I am currently working on my first production album, in collaboration with production company, Basstone Music, which recently launched and distributed worldwide throughout Non Stop Music, a division of Warner Chappell.

The album combines the classical sound of a modern, dynamic orchestra and electronic sounds.
